Although, over the past few games Kumar Sangakara’s failure with the bad hasn’t hampered Sri Lanka’s performance, they would love to see their master wicket keeper batsman strike with the bat. In both games he fell for good disguised deliveries like the Sajid Mahmood slower delivery which totally undid him in his last game.

Kumar is well known for his never say die character. In addition to his self-belief, what Sanga will need the most for his return to form is the encouragement from the players and coach to improve from his mistakes rather than rue on them.

With games against New Zealand and Australia coming up Kumar will be setting himself to make a remarkable comeback to form.

How much do you want to bet? He is going to score under 20 in the next game. He only knows how to YACK all the time. All the big talk but no result. I hope you lose against Australia and NewZealand and may Ireland as well and get kicked off the tournement.

    Rogers,

Your comments remind of sour grapes. You are probably a heartbroken Indian or an angry Englishman who suffered losses against the Lions. But whatever you say will not be enough to deny our boys victories in this World Cup.

We’ll be winning and we’ll be singing while you will only be kicking yourself without been able to realize the real facts.

Dream on but never expect them all to come true..! :D

    Correctly said Yellow Card..
There are many heartbroken cricket fans in this World Cup because of many high ranked teams loosing to minnows. And now even South Africa have lost to Bangladesh. So we would have to expect more heartbrokens going mad about the winning champions. But whatever they say the champions always win. :)

Sanga is too good a player to be out of form for too long. The kiwis and the Aussies will provide SL with their strongest challenge to date in this WC. And if we know anything bout Sanga is that he is a big match player and he enjoys and thrives under these situations. And I believe he avgs well over 40 against the aussies vs his overall avg which is in the 30s.

I expect a big hand from a vital cog in our wheel in the next 3 games.
